WHAT TO EXPECT

55-minute appointments.

One-on-one with a DPT.

Every time.

I only see one patient at a time, so you will have my full attention.

 

Some acute conditions can be corrected with Physical Therapy in 1-2 appointments, but the majority of the time this will only provide a short-term benefit to your problem.

Typically, it will require a small commitment from you to get the long-term results you are looking for. Your body needs time to adapt to the new demands we will ask of it, to break the bad movement habits that have been developed over time, and to develop the strength and motor control you need in order to maintain the benefits for the long term.

Most of the time, 6 appointments over 6 weeks is what I will ask of you so you can gain the full benefit from the work we do, to progress you to a point where you are able to maintain or manage your issue independently, and to prevent it from coming back again.

The appointments will consist of a full body screen to find the main contributors to your problem, hands-on therapy to provide mobility to the affected tissues, and corrective exercises to improve strength and movement quality.
