Savvy PT is one of Denver’s finest concierge style physical therapy clinics

About Savvy PT

What makes Savvy Physical Therapy unique is that we try our best to prevent you from having to come into the clinic. We typically see people only once a week and depending on your condition, you can expect to only need to come in for between 6-10 visits.

We use a system called the SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment) which is a comprehensive, full-body mobility and stability assessment used to classify movement patterns to find the root cause of your problem. With the SFMA and our one-hour appointments, Savvy PT is in a unique position to be successful in correcting your issues where traditional clinics haven’t been able to do so.

You are not your diagnosis

This means that regardless of your diagnosis, what’s on your imaging report, or what you read online, we can help by treating your movement dysfunction and motor control issues to help you move better and feel better. Most often, the cause of your problem is not where you are feeling your pain, which is why it hasn’t been corrected yet.

We thrive in helping you succeed even if you’ve been through previous rehab or if it has been years of pain.

We are an out-of-network clinic and accept payment at the time of service. This means that we do not accept any insurance, but in many cases, clients do have some out-of-network benefits through their insurance plan and can get reimbursed between 50-80% of the cost of the visit depending on your plan. We also can accept HSA/FSA payments.

About Ryan

Ryan Smith; Owner, Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)

I’ve been working as a Physical Therapist in Denver since 2011.

After growing up in Denver, I moved to southern California to get my bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and worked as a physical therapy aide throughout college. I took two years off and spent time traveling and working in the Colorado mountains before deciding to pursue my career.

I moved to Queensland, Australia, and graduated with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Bond University in 2011. I moved back to Denver and I have worked in several inpatient and outpatient clinics gaining experience with people with all kinds of conditions before deciding to start my own clinic in order to be able to help them to the best of my ability without being constrained by insurance companies.

Over the years, my interests have developed specifically into orthopedic therapy, pain relief, and body mechanics. I am focused on treating injury and dysfunction of the joints and muscles, whole body mobility, and helping people eliminate pain and restore functional movement so you can use your body at full capacity for the things you love to do.

I am a former soccer player and college rugby player, and now I spend my time training Jiu Jitsu, so I understand the pain you are experiencing, your frustration with being injured or in pain, and your motivation to get back to normal ASAP.
